I'm Rachel; a filmmaker, producer and storyteller with a passion for capturing authentic stories that inspire connection and positive change.
My career has taken me from wildlife and conservation productions to community projects, charity campaigns and purpose-led organisations, filming everywhere from local community initiatives to remote coastlines and scientific expeditions. I love the variety that filmmaking brings and the opportunity to meet passionate people doing meaningful work.

I'm Rachel; a storyteller, producer and filmmaker with a passion for capturing authentic stories that inspire connection and positive change. With over 15 years' experience in documentary filmmaking, my career has taken me from major natural history productions to charity campaigns, community projects and school productions.
I love the variety that filmmaking brings and the opportunity to meet people with different experiences and stories to share. One of the things I enjoy most is helping people feel comfortable on camera. As someone who isn't naturally drawn to being in front of the lens myself, I understand how daunting it can feel. I've found that when people are given the time, space and confidence to relax, their expertise, passion and personality naturally shine through.
I enjoy working unobtrusively, capturing authentic interactions and the moments that make a story feel real. I love the challenge of distilling an entire event or project into just a few minutes, capturing its energy, impact and purpose. A great film doesn't just document what happened - it helps people understand why it matters and inspires them to take action.
I have a background in Zoology and natural history filmmaking, alongside dive qualifications and a particular passion for marine conservation. As a paddler, diver and freediver, I feel equally at home above and below the water and am particularly drawn to stories that connect people with nature.
